806 persons with disabilities provided with mobility aides namely elbow an auxiliary crutches
A total 658 visits made in 2022, 138 in 2019/2020 (covid19 impact), 483 in 2018 and 584 in 2017 visits made by the physiotherapist to PWDs in need of rehabilitation. This includes referrals and follow ups of patients
6 Annual sports competitions organized for children with disabilities in Arua and Nebbi since 2017 to date
134 school children in Ediofe Girls and Arua Demonstration Primary schools supported with assorted sports equipment
7 trainings organized for persons with disabilities and other vulnerable youth and women focusing on skills enhancement, business and marketing skills as well as record keeping
17 physically impaired persons benefited from wheel chairs to enhance their mobility

Support to orphans
✓ Under this social project, orphans are financially supported to afford the basic needs aimed at improving the quality of thier lives.
✓ A total of 137 orphans are supported under this scheme.
Support to persons living with HIV/AIDS
✓ Persons living with HIV/AIDS form a significant section of the beneficiaries of the social project intervention by the Amici di Angal.
✓ The focus is on the poor HIV clients who can not afford basic needs including access to good nutrition.
✓ The benefiaries under this scheme are supported to receive ongoing care and treatment from Angal hospital.
✓ The beneficiaries are also provided with monthly food supplements.
✓ A total of 405 beneficiaries are supported under this scheme.
Integrated rehabilitation and livelihood intervention for refugees, asylum seekers and host communities in Rhino Camp refugee settlement -Madi Okollo and livelihood enhancement for vulnerable PWDs, women and youth in Arua City.
Support to visually impaired children
✓ This project supports the blind section in Angal Girls Primary School through supplementing the salary payment for some special needs teachers and facilitating their training for the unit, buying food for the blind pupils and repairing braille machines.
✓ A total of 35 visually impaired boys and girls are supported under this program.
✓ 5 visually impaired children successfully completed primary seven in 2018 and 3 have already joined secondary level education.
Support to St. Theresa Girls Infant School
✓ Through this support, infant education has been made affordable to the surrounding communities and this has encouraged the parents to take their children to School.
✓ The school has 278 children, 44 of whom are on complete scholarship offered by the program.
✓ The school has a total of 11 teaching staff, of which 10 are supported by the project.
Support to the youth groups: Alphonse Tenchnical Lad (ATLA) and Angal Youth Promotional Association (AYPA)
✓ This project social project focuses on livelihood for the youth through empowerment projects aimed at enhancing their economic well-being.
✓ Activities under taken uner this project include sustainable agriculture, bakery, crafts making and ICT.
✓ A total of 103 and 16 youth are supported uder ATLA and AYPA respectively
Samaritan fund
✓ The project aims at ensuring access to health care to people who cannot afford it economically.
✓ Fundings provide payment for life-saving medicines, treatments for those affected by chronical diseases, referrals to other hospitals in case of need.
✓ A total of 700 people have benefited of this programme for a total of 1600 treatments in 2018
