The Board of Directors
These are five in number as provided for in our constitution, 4 of these were
elected from here and the 5th is Dr. Luca Scali as proposed to us by Africa & Sport, Maria Rosaria and friends from Milan.
Mr. Jobile Cornelius
A re-known government official in Arua Municipality. He is the Senior Assistant Town Clerk in-charge of Arua hill
Division. He has a vast
experience in serving as board member in several organisations and is our
Chairperson for the BoD.
Mrs. Harriet Asinuru
Harriet is a lecturer at the Makerere University Business School branch here in Arua and is a trainer in Business Skills for the International Labour Organisation.
Mr. Charles
Balala
Is the resident state attorney - West Nile based in Arua. He has followed every step of our journey and given us legal
guidance. He also helped to link us to the National NGO board. Given his dedication and potential usefulness to the organization, we elected him to serve on the board of CEIL.
Mr. Tintre Apangu Roberts
Is the Coordinator for UNHCR Refugee Operations with the District Local government. He has been of help in the entire process both in Kind and ideas. Given his placement with the local government, members thought to include him as part of the pioneer board of directors.
Dr. Luca Scali
Is the nominee by our corporate founder member
Africa&Sport and Maria Rosaria and team in Milan to represent the donor
community in the Board of CEIL. He is known to us due to a long history of
collaboration and hard work together. His existence on CEIL board is a
strengthening factor for all the stakeholders both here and in Italy.
The Advisory Council
Our Constitution also provided for an advisory council consisting of three
members. These play an advisory role to all the members of the organization and advocate based on their expertise for the good of CEIL.
Dr. Stefano Santini
Recognized for his immense experience in
Uganda, practical knowledge in management and linkage to all the stakeholders of CEIL and elected him on the advisory council of CEIL
Leku Marx Ronald
A man who has a vast experience in projects,
Rehabilitation and has been key person in the formation of CEIL. The board
asked him to serve in the advisory council.
Dr. Pierfrancesco Marsiaj
He is a member presented to CEIL by Amici di Angal, our partner in Nebbi.
